Bit Festival
A technology festival that gathers people to celebrate the 1980s High Tech.

Brand Identity | Event Design | Motion Design | 2023
Designer: Kate Wu/ Sungeun Shin/ Chanhun Kim/ Olivia McKnight
It offers a place for people to take a break from modern technology and appreciate the cool inventions that were designed in this period.

The logotype employs a pixelated typeface to evoke the aesthetic of the 1980s High Tech era. And the meaning behind the name, Bit Festival is that a bit is the smallest unit of measurement used to quantify computer data; even though it is a tiny part of the whole system, it is irreplaceable.
